Working Student - OT/IT Systems Engineering

You will be based at our electronics manufacturing plant in Zug.

Your new responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, contributing ideas and solutions to improve workflow efficiency within the plant
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance and optimize IT systems, implementing updates and improvements as required
  • Contribute to the evaluation and rollout of software deployment solutions within our electronics manufacturing plant
  • Assist in the establishment and operation of an Active Directory (AD) domain
  • Work on developing audit-compliant factory IT manuals and documentation, covering areas such as network and processes, in Confluence
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of our application and asset management systems within the plant
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime
  • Assist with the integration and testing of new hardware and software solutions in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Support in the maintenance and configuration of network infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance with industry standards

Your talents and experience

  • Enrolment in at least the 4th semester of a bachelor's degree programme at a university of applied sciences or a technical university in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field
  • Preferably, industry-relevant certifications or previous exposure to IT Systems Engineering
  • German and English language skills are required
