In the Institue of Chemistry and Bioanalytics (School of Life Sciences, FHNW), we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic PhD student in the group of Prof. Laura Suter-Dick “Cell biology and in vitro toxicology”.

• Developing and implementing state of the art, advanced cell culture systems (e.g. 3D-cultures, brainspheres)
• Investigating developmental neurotoxicity, with particular focus on elucidating and assessing the role of microglia

The project is funded by SCAHT (Swiss Centre for Applied Human Toxicology) and will be carried out in collaboration with the University of Lausanne, ETH-Zurich and University of Geneva. The working place will be in the FHNW new Campus Muttenz, just outside Basel, Switzerland.
