What you will do

• Support the implementation and execution of the one of our global flagship innovation programs that embodies and tangibly demonstrates the purpose and values of Zurich.
• Help to plan, launch and deliver the next cycle of the program
• Collaborate with a global team of innovation, tech, strategy and insurance experts
• Actively participate in innovation Hackathons, Design Thinking Workshops and Innovation Research Projects
• Participate in training and development workshops that demonstrate new ways of working and inspire colleagues around the world
• Conduct research on trends and prepare findings in presentations (in Powerpoint or Word) for senior stakeholders
• Achieve Hands-on experience in operational tasks related to innovation
• Gain experience in working on global innovation projects focusing on strategy implementation and business development, startup collaborations, ecosystem engagement initiatives.
• Work closely with colleagues, partners & suppliers to actively drive the assigned projects / workstreams
• Level up your analytical and project management skills
• Build out your know how on innovation, digitalization and tech trends impacting the Insurance Industry and surrounding ecosystem

What you bring

• Outstanding university degree (Bachelor or Master Degree) in the field of Innovation Management, Business Administration and/or Management, Strategy or similar
• Gained first experience in working in innovation / strategy / consulting / business development or a start up - working independently and owning initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders from start to finish
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (incl. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Fluent in English (German language skills are a plus)
• Analytical and project management skills
• A team-oriented and highly motivated talent
• Strong communicator, able to work in a dynamic and everchanging environment
• Strong sense for entrepreneurship and making things happen
• Passionate about innovation, digitalization, tech trends and interested in the world of startups
• Curiosity in how to better utilise data to craft more optimal user experiences
• You must be enrolled in University for the duration of the role
• You must be located in Zurich, Switzerland for the duration of the contract
