Data Engineering Internship – Automotive (f/m/d)

Scope of the role: The post-processing team is a part of our testing operations and prototyping. It is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of data post processing tools and for the reporting used for post elaboration of various tests that are conducted for development or certification purposes.

Your tasks:

• Support the development and maintenance of data post processing software tools (data processing, data enrichment, and reporting tools etc)
• Introduction of new calculation formulas or bug fixing if required
• Database administration and standardization for measurement channels used in post processing
• Documentation of post processing calculation formulas and instructions for facilitating the use of post processing tools
• Support the improvement of report templates in accordance with the requests of internal clients
• General support in homologation activities (e.g. Preparation of official reports)

Our requirements:

• Currently enrolled student in a technical field, either specifically in software engineering or in another engineering discipline in which software engineering is not only a vital part but also an subject of particular interest to you
• Very good knowledge of Matlab and Visual Basic (programming)
• Good English skills (both spoken and written; min B2) are indispensable, while any levels of German and/or Italian language skills, while not mandatory, would be considered an asset
• You are a team player with great communication skills and a hands-on work mentality
• Avalid work permit for Switzerland is a compulsory requirement ,although not needed if you are a Swiss citizen or hold a passport from any EU-26 or EFTA member state (or, if neither applies to you, if you are enrolled at a Swiss university/college, depending on your permit status)
