Collège La Découverte is seeking secondary school teachers (9th and 10th grades) for the 2025 academic year in English, Physical Education (taught in English) and German. We are looking for passionate educators who are enthusiastic about their subject and eager to contribute to the development of our new secondary school.

Currently, La Découverte operates two bilingual French-English primary schools, serving 230 and 110 students, respectively, and utilizing active teaching methods. One school is located in Geneva, and the other in Mies.

The new Collège La Découverte, situated in Grand-Saconnex, will open its doors in August 2025. To build our teaching team, we are seeking:

• In addition to teaching, the teacher will work closely with the administration to implement the school's educational project while ensuring alignment with the objectives and standards of the Swiss PER curriculum.

Profile Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven experience in secondary education
• In-depth knowledge of the Swiss curriculum and its objectives
• Strong interest in project-based learning and constructivist pedagogy
• Passionate about supporting students’ development, growth, and well-being
• Familiarity with alternative pedagogical methods

Mission Start Date

• August 2025
• Note: Collaborative project work will be required intermittently during the 2024–2025 school year.
