Teaching assistants

will support the Professor Gillis in preparing teaching materials and performing research for the seminar. The seminar will explore some of the most pressing legal and ethical challenges associated with the growing deployment of AI in critical domains and will cover legal and policy responses in both the United States and Europe. Topics that will be discussed in the seminar include algorithmic fairness, privacy and explainability, offering a comparative perspective on how different jurisdictions are addressing responsible AI.

Profile

• Enrolment in a university (preferably advanced Bachelor or Master level)
• Excellent grades and, preferably, some prior experience in research support and managing course materials.
• Strong interest in the intersection of law and technology.
