We are looking for new Visiting Lecturers whose responsibilities will be to design, deliver courses and student experiences through pedagogical and extra-curricular learning activities. This mission requires an entrepreneurial mindset, combined with an in-depth understanding of the higher education context.
We are looking to cover the following courses (all Bachelor levels):
- Business development and strategy
- Sustainability in ethical business
- Business and academic research methods
- Concept development and entrepreneurship in food and beverage management
- Economics for hospitality and the tourism Industry
- Luxury brand strategy
- International event management

Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and/or Graduate level courses according to the academic program
- Prepare and update teaching material to the standards required by the school
- Deliver course content in the required delivery mode and develop skills based on the course description and learning level
- Teach in a participative, relevant, and dynamic manner
- Link classroom and independent learning activities to course learning outcomes, transferable skills and assessment requirements
- Prepare and grade assessments, examinations, course work and course projects in a timely fashion and in accordance with internal quality procedures
- Take part in academic mentoring/advising/counselling of students
- Develop teaching practice through workshops and faculty development activities
- Manage classroom environment in a professional manner
- Contribute to program review, design and curriculum development
- Participate in course review and evaluation
- Participate in the Internal Verification process
- Participate in peer-to-peer classroom observation
- Participate in external accreditation reviews
- Participate in external examiner reviews
- Participate in Program Committee
- Review and adapt courses to maintain student experience and according to latest industry trends when applicable
- Be seen as a role model to students academically and professionally
- Demonstrate a dedicated and motivated approach to the educational process and students learning
- Respect diversity, cultural, and linguistic differences
- Ensure equality in all dealings with students when applying regulations and academic standards
- Contribute to enforcing the code of conduct with fairness and equality
- Participate in student induction activities
- Conduct tasks as required by Management
- Develop a hospitality professional network
- Participation in internal bodies (AFC, employee committee)
- Develop own skills in learning technologies as appropriate
Profile and experiences:
- Master's degree in a relevant field. A comprehensive industry or teaching experience along with a Bachelor's Degree will also be considered
- Ideally a track record of teaching experience in the corresponding subject area or training and development in a professional setting
- Familiarity with technology and aware of latest trends in hospitality business and education
- A strong interest for teaching and a strong teaching ability
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
- IT literate
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Experience in working in a multicultural environment
